Between 2010 and 2012 Altrum and the University of Stirling ran a research project looking at adult support and protection.

The project sought to gain views of disabled people about how they wanted professionals to act if there were concerns about harm.

From that, they created a range of resources to support professionals to keep supported persons at the centre of the process.

This video gives a dramatised examples of people using some of the tools that were developed to support someone to stay at the centre of any concerns about them.
